How can I upgrade my Qtek 1010 to a 2003 (or newer) PocketPC / WMobile version?

I happen to have a Qtek 1010 which seems to have a PocketPC SW as from 2001. How can I upgrade it to a 2003 version, as an interesting piece of software requires that?

Yes, I know it is old, but so am I, and I have the device and it would obviously be OK for my purpose.
