Posted December 19, 201113 yr My parents have been having phone calls for a number of weeks now from people claiming to be calling from Windows Vista/XP/etc. telling us our computer has been sending them messages to say there is a fault on it. Obviously we have been ignoring their requests to turn on the computer and follow their instructions but I just wanted to ask if there was any truth in this or whether anyone else has had similar experiences?
