SSL cert problem on WM6.5 IE

I am unable to connect to a webserver using IE on a WM6.5 device. The server is using an SSL certificate that has a different CN than the host name (ex: CN is www.site.com, hostname is an ip address). Does pocket IE support SLL certs with a CN that doesn't match the hostname? Thanks
