Hi,

Earlier today, I received multiple notices telling me that my Windows 7 was not genuine and that I may be a victim of counterfeiting. I did a system restore to last week, hoping that it would fix things, but that messed up my computer even more. I then did another system restore to earlier today - before I got the pop ups. This seemed to do the trick.

However, I have noticed when I go to the properties of 'Computer', under 'Windows Activation', it says 'Status not available' and 'Product ID: Not available'.

I got this computer around 6 months ago, and I'm certain I activated Windows 7 when I first got the computer. I'm also certain that my Windows 7 is legitimate.

How can I fix things?

Please help!
