I am using WIN7 Pro 64 bit and I made a couple of dumb errors which I now do not know how to fix.

While trying to create a virtual hard drive, I think I inadvertently created a reserved space on my main C:\ partition which in the process, moved the boot information to that reserved space.

Then in an effort to get rid of that new reserved space, I set it to inactive which was a big mistake, as now when I attempt to start the computer, I get this error message:

file: \Boot\BCD

status: 0xc000000f

info: an error occurred while attempting to read boot configuration.

I have attempted to use the installation disk to open the repair tools but it refuses to load, even though the boot is set to read cd/dvd drive first.

In short, I am now completely at a loss as to how to access my system to correct the problem, including using a floppy disk instead, to force my way in to get a command line prompt for possibly using this to fix the problem:

bdchdcfg -target (drive letter of system reserved volume): merge

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
