Posted December 18, 201113 yr Windows comes with a basic screen reader called Narrator that reads text on the screen aloud and describes some events (such as an error message appearing) that happen while you're using the computer. Is there a way to specifically control what is read on a webpage? For example, as a developer, can I place a specific file with dictation that enhances the experience for this speech. For example, I don't want ads read, or navigation. I'm thinking about people who are blind and need to read content and use the Narrator on the web.
