How can i prevent users accessing my server by typing \\server.

 

There they can see my shares. I want te prevent that.

Hi there,

 

Right click the shared folder, RENAME the actual share (let's say SHARE1) with SHARE1$.

 

you simply have to add the "$" symbol at the end of the name to make a folder hidden.
