Posted August 2, 201014 yr I subscribe to Big Fish games and have a shedload of their games already since I've been a member for about 3 years. I've had very few problems with them in all that time. I downloaded one of their trial games today and got an access violation message saying it thad tried to read from 0xFFFF0581. So I downloaded and installed DirectX and tried again. This time the message address reads 0xFFFF05A7. I've noticed a few other strange things happening with other games in the past few days. I've had one game for some time and it's been working fine but recently it's started hanging badly and then when I reloaded it half the window was below the bottom of the screen. Can anyone tell me what is happening here? Also, what can I do about it? I've downloaded and installed the latest video drivers for my system and checked to see if there are any others which are out of date (apparently not). -- Dianthus
