Posted August 17, 200717 yr Suppose you tryed to do something but discovered you could not. You try latter and discover you can. In other words, you initially find a problem but when you try later you discover there is no problem. Situation 1 I boot partition G, which contains Wxp, and after awhile I try to run a game, which has always run before, but this time the game starts-up then the desktop appears. I try to run the game repeatedly but the results are the same. I shut-down then boot partition F where I work there for awhile. I then shut-down F and boot G. At G, I try to run the game and discover that it runs just fine. Situation 2 I boot partition H, which contains Vista, but the boot process only reaches the Microsoft "moving indicator". I tryed a safe mode boot. I tryed the last known good configuration boot. The results were the same. I then booted F where I work there for a while. I then shut-down F and try to boot H and discover that H boots just fine. G and H are on the same drive which is a few months old. What do you think is going on?
