my desktop theme changes from vista to classic when i restart my p

In my case this error was corrected by resetting the DPI setting to

default.

Open:

Control Panel.

Personalization.

See upper left edge of window under "tasks"..

Adjust font size (DPI)

Action's to take:

Select Default scale (96 DPI)

Restart Computer.

Next action:

Look to right top of window and find "Window Color and Appearance".

Beneath you will find a link to Open Classic Appearance Properties.

Click on the Link.

Find and Select - the Color Scheme' by highlighting "Windows Aero".

Click OK

Restart.

Those are the moves that corrected my Color Scheme error.
