Alias, they have taught a chimpanzee to operate a computer so your

claim is hardly an achievement and the Chimp knew enough to give

correct answers... a trait that you are hardly capable of.

BFD dude, if on the very rare occasion I want to play a DirectX game I

boot to Windows. That's one of the reasons I use BOTH OS's, to get the

best of BOTH worlds. Why I would want to watch an HD program on a

pathetic small screen compared to 60" of pure joy with 7.1 surround and

an awesome sub, is beyond me. Not a friggen chance even IF I can/could

in Win7 or Linux! What a waste of time that would be, not to mention the

disappointment of features! For those with just a 19" - 24" computer

screen being their only mode of viewing movies, then so what, boot to

Winders and do the viewing, then boot back to Linux for a more secure

email and surfing experience. Get off this bit of putting one or the

other down, use them both for a complete experience. This

narrow-mindedness bit is astounding! What's the F'ing point?

To the Windroids of the world, one has to choose. Ya know, like Bush

I agree with you 100 per cent. Why not have both?

Yup, the best of BOTH worlds is a good thing. These people who wanna

make one choose one or the other are a bunch of biased morons, and are

suspect of paid shilling and the like.

You are correct about the speed of 64bit along with ext4, as this new

test machine ROCKS with Ubuntu 64bit installed. The speed of application

startup and so on is astounding! Win7 is pretty spunky as well which is

a plus for my Winders needs. (Which is very minimal.) Let the shills say

what they will, but on this machine dual booting Win7 64bit, and Ubuntu

64bit, Ubuntu wins with speed and efficiency, plus using the better part

of Compiz, compared to Winders desktop effects.

I still maintain, and will not let go the idea that if Winders adopted

some of the better parts of Compiz effects, (And/Or OSX) they would have

a winner as far as desktop effects are concerned. As it is, most of the

clunky effects they have now are mostly a joke. Most people could care

less who came up with what, as long as they have the excellent effects

that help them get things done! LOL, but then Microsoft has a real

problem with actually writing software originating from them. Usually

they have to STEAL it from someone or another, LOL. (Just take a look at

the lawsuits!..Not to mention their history in general! LOL. LOL, LOL!)

...Still, they could at least do SIMILAR useful Compiz effects, and just

adsorb the biased critical BS. AGAIN, MOST people could care less who

came up with what, what they want is what works. BUT the self centered,

self important, moronic, dick-weeds better known as Microsoft

Corporation, thinks they know better. Well, as a result of their

arrogance, I truly hope they fall flat on their face eventually, as most

arrogant people do. Time will tell I see that a great many people are

nothing more than sheep, blindly following each other. .. How sad for

them.. Blindly following morons, making them morons? ..LOL!

I ignore the grammar cops because they themselves make mistakes, and

mostly because it is more like they cannot come up with an actual

intelligent rebuttal, therefore they have no other choice than to attack

one's spelling/grammar. ..How pathetic, really..

Fuck you asshole. You are an MS hating linturd PIMP, just like your

fellow lying, linturd pimp, alias.

This is a Windows 7 ng, not an ng for that POS toy os you and your

FACT: The world runs on Windows. Windows 7 will do everything and is all

Fuck off asshole.
