Guest Ted Smith Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I am running Vista with IE7, and I check my Temporary Internet Content and Cookies regularly. Internet Explorer 7's normal filing procedure is to put most Content and Cookies in SUBFOLDERS of C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5, or of C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low. Suddenly the system is putting ALL CONTENT in the single folder: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files. It is putting ALL COOKIES in the single folder: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies. The only change that has occurred is that I had to install some special software from the company I work with and their tech support told me to temporarily turn off UAC. After the software installation the had me turn UAC back on. How do I get internet filing to work correctly again? Ted Smith Quote
