truhill Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Hello everyone! Here's my situation: I have this windows server 2008 running really nicely. I've created all the roaming profils and their base data on the server so that they can log from any computer in the domain. (i'm pretty sure you knew that but it's just in case you might ask). I want to know if it is possible for the users to have their informations, mails, so and so forth from outlook save on the server, more precisely, in their roaming files. Let me give you a situation. The front desk is having an issue with a client that is saying that he sent an email to the superviser. So the superviser comes down and open his session on the front desk computer to show the email received from outlook. I hope it's clear! Thank you in advance! Quote
ICTCity Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Hi there, There's a good article for roaming profiles: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/office-xp-resource-kit/configuring-outlook-for-roaming-users-HA001136430.aspx But it's quite old, anyway the only thing that change is the folder's location, so check this page too: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/where-does-microsoft-office-outlook-2007-save-my-information-and-configurations-HP010066914.aspx Cheers Quote -------------------------------------------------------- Tu peux aussi crire en franais.
