Hi, I need help configuring my 3 computers (Desktop-Computer, Notebook,

Netbook) so that I have the Desktop for performance things (games), one

for my personal data (diaries, email, important documents, ...), and the

netbook for ... don't know yet. Currently the Desktop-PC is for gaming,

lan-parties and "public" which means that i have no personal data on it,

and there is one profile for friends or family members (if i had one

profile for each family member then the applications are not configured

for all users the same, for example firefox, winamp, etc. a Solution

would be to use Portable Applications, but these are not always easy to

update and some Applications are just to complex for a slow usb pen

drive). The Notebook is configured for my personal things but has a

guest profile, restricted with Windows SteadyState. The Netbook is for

extremely private date like photos and diaries, this is why i don't use

the internet with that computer. But I want to change or sell it (I will

put the private data on my notebook on an usb pen drive which i only

connect when there is no active internet connection.

Another Problem is that the data between the computers is not

synchronized (for example i write a forum post on the desktop-pc and

later need it on my travel notebook again, a usb drive would be to

slow??).

And it is important that all notebook users have admin-rights because I

want it to be undervolted with RMClock. Could this be combined with

SteadyState somehow? ^^

How would you / do you do it?
