Well, I can speak for HP. When I decided to upgrade I did a bunch of

 

research, I knew four things to start:

 

 

 

1. I wanted an Intel Core i7 920, good price/performance ratio.

 

2. I knew I couldn't build a PC for the price since I'd need cpu, mb

 

and memory and there are great deals around on PCs now.

 

3. I had previous experience with HP and knew that their website was to

 

me very superior to other manufacturers. I have complete motherboard

 

pics, specs, bios info, etc. along with the ability to download all

 

original software, drivers, etc.

 

4. I knew HP was probably the worst for crapware but I can remove it

 

all in just a few minutes now that I've learned how.
