I was having a similar problem where vista wouldn't recognize the file

path of a batch file.

 

All I had to do to fix it was save the batch file (created with

Notepad) as ANSI encoded text (save as > Encoding ANSI)

 

Hope it helps someone with the same problem style_emoticons//smile.gif
