How to rip CD audio to MP3

http://www.softe.net/eufony_help/rip-cd.php

CD-DA is an abbreviation for Compact Disc Digital Audio. It is also

known as "Red Book Audio" and is the digital sound format used by

audio CDs. Data is encoded by starting with a source sound file, and

sampling it to convert it to digital format. CD-DA audio uses a sample

rate of 44.1 kHz, which is roughly double the highest frequency

audible by humans.

You probably have a favorite CD and want to listen to it on your MP3

player at any time, you will need rip CD audio to MP3.

Follow the steps below to convert/ rip CD audio to MP3 FLAC.

Ripping CD audio to MP3 FLAC using Eufony Audio Converter

After launch Eufony, Insert an audio CD in your CD-ROM drive. In the

folders pane, click on the CD Drive contains CDA files you want to

convert to MP3. CDA stands for CD Audio and are small files that

contain information as to where the audio is located on the CD. These

files do not actually contain any music, and copying them does nothing

except create small, useless files on your hard drive. To actually

extract the music from an audio CD a process called ripping is

required.

In the file list pane, select one or more CDA files.

Right click on the selected CDA files to bring up the context menu and

select Convert.

In the Audio Format Conversion window, select MP3 from the Output-

>Format list.

If you want to change the output quality, select the Custom radio

button. (optional)

The default MP3 encoding bitrate will be 128kbps. You can change the

bitrate to 320 kbps which offers near CD quality. However the higher

the bitrate you encode the bigger the file size will be.

If you want to change the destination folder for ripped MP3 files,

click on the Browse icon button to change. (optional)

Click Convert to start ripping.
