I am new user of win server 2008

i always hear about the term of network traffic can anybody explain what is meant by network traffic term ? what is meant by dns traffic ? what is the differences between them ?

DNS is another form of network traffic. Network traffic is all data that is passed from the server to the internet or all traffic passed from the internet to the server. It can also be traffic across the local network.
