Here, here to using both.

One does not exclude the other.

Linux is great for rescuing Windows drives.

Windows is not so good at rescuing Linux drives.

MS should learn to boot/read Linux partitions without 3rd party crap.

I figured you'd pick up on that on. At least you have a brain. lol

Windows 7 is making history as the most conciliatory computer enterprise,

and these days, Microsoft holds its customers in the highest respect. I also

venture that it (Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2) will be the most

successful OS yet.

... Now ..

Alias, I do not have the time for this banter unless there's some real

learning here on technical or programming issues - something I doubt will be

forth coming in these "OS Wars" threads.

So beyond a certain point, the "OS Wars" become a waste of time for me.

But hey, if I ever make a Ubuntu siting, I will try to post the time and

place for you - don't hold your breath though.

'Have a good end-of-summer,

Saucy

Yeah, assuming that each and every paying customer is a pirate until the

There there we go again. Another insult from someone who cannot win an

argument so he has to resort to school boy tactics and name calling. What

an intelligent being you really are. Showing your true colours now. You

belong in an infant's playground, there you can play with your Ubuntu for as

long as you like with the other schoolboys.

And I asked you the question, do you really think that will make people

change to Ubuntu because of your claims?

Your answer, or should I say, 'non answer' was, and I quote: "If they're

smart, they will"

That is not an answer. NOW! What would be your answer? See if you can

answer it this time without wearing your short trousers and your school boy

cap.

This space will die as no one in their right mind will continue using

Vista SP2 when Win7, aka Vista SP3, is out. I'll be over at the Win 7

This comparison you make is completely useless because for all you know,

most installs/copies of Ubuntu are not sold, they are just downloaded

legally for free (try saying that about Windows!). This is why it is so

incredibly hard to quantify the number of linux/Ubuntu installs.

Because it is so hard to get an accurate count of linux installs through

purchased copies, your comparison is meaningless.

No no, it's easier than you think. The number of Ubuntu installs can easily

be classified as either: "very few", "extremely few" or "insignificant".

You really are biased. Gordon from what I can tell from his posts likes

Vista as much as he likes Linux.

Saucy is another Best Buy "fast track" employee that believes what he is

told.

He's as smart as the EULA allows him to be.

He wears an "I'm with stupid" t-shirt inside out.
