Notebook computer restarts after shutdown but only when connectedto the mains power.

I have done a lot of investigation into this but have not been able to

find an article or newsgroup message that has any relativity. My

computer is a Toshiba NB 100 (Netbook) running Win XP. If I leave the

computer connected to the charger when I turn it off, it restarts

immediately. If I leave it on for any length of time it will restart

without anyone doing anything. The restart on error function is not

active. If anyone has had this problem and can suggest what I need to

do, I would be most grateful.
