Posted February 22, 201113 yr I have a small server 2008 R2 setup in a non-production environment to test and learn about the OS itself and eventually other applications and services. I have been trying for about the last week to install a second DC. Every time I try do this, I run dcpromo.exe and it says this exactly: "This computer is already an Active Directory domain controller. You can use this wizard to uninstall Active Directory Domain Services on this server" This is the only option I am given. All of the texts I read say to run dcpromo.exe and just 'install another DC' (spoken sarcastically because of the issues I am currently having) for fault tolerance and the like, but I simply cannot do it for some odd reason. I am logged in as administrator. I also apologize in advance if I am leaving anything out that I should be adding. Please let me know what information you need and I will be more than happy to provide it. Thank you for your time. DT
