Windows XP Standby problem

Hi,

 

When I try to put my laptop in standby, it ignores it and generates an error

in system event log (event id 240): A request to suspend power was denied by

winlogon.exe. I don't have any program running.

My XP version is Windows XP x64 SP2.

 

Please help.
