I have a user who needs to be able to view and run two Scheduler jobs, as

well as at view a particular service so she can check and make sure the

service has not stopped.

At this time she is in the local Remote Desktop Users and Users groups only.

By adding her to the local Power Users group she still cannot perform either

previously mentioned task. When her ID is placed in the Administrators group

she is able to perform both tasks.

We do NOT want her in the local Administrators Group for security reasons.

We have tried giving her Full Control security rights on the security tab by

right clicking on both of the defined scheduled tasks. However, she still has

to be placed in the local Administrators group in order to view, stop or

start the scheduled tasks.

What is the correct way to allow an application specialist access to

Scheduler and Services without adding them to the local Administrators group?
