Here I get the Only Administrator in Windows update too. I tried all kinds

and even your exhaustive fix here http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=316524

I am logged in as Admistrator, in fact I am the Administrator for pete sake!

I admit, it is not recommended to work in the XP Admin account, but I did...

Windows Update works if I create a new user account but thats not the

point... I want to be able to update from my Administrator account as its the

one I'm using since a year now and haven't been able to update since...

Surely there must be a fix?

Help...
