Windows Search - Failed upgrade from Version V3 to V4

Hi,

A customers VISTA Laptop has failed to install Windows Search V4, the

problem now is that the V3 no longer works - although the service will not

start the fact it tries to start slows the system performance down

immensely, setting the service to DISABLED corrects this particular issue

and the system performs correctly.

However what I would really like to do is to re-install Windows Search 3 and

attempt to upgrade to V4 again, how is it possible to re-install the V 3 ?

that is the real question.
