Because of hardware change our Windows 2008 Std license was de-activated. We proceeded to re-activate it via online without problems and now all is fine except a water mark located in desktop (right down) indicating "not genuine Windows".

 

Do you think next time we restart server that water mark will disappear or is necesary to do something else?

You might have to phone in to Microsoft to activate. Try restarting and if it doesn't activate then call Microsoft using the number on the failed activation screen.
