Hi All,

I am new to server things and tried to search online but couldn't figure out the answer of my question. Actually I have an executable file (software) in my local machine folder. I have been assigned task to install that software on VM windows server 2008. I am able to connect server using remote desktop. Can anyone explain me how to install that software from my local machine to server. I am not able to share my local machine to server.

Another question which i have is that how can i copy any file from local machine to VM windows server 2008 using FTP or any other way???

Regards,

SIK

Setup RDP on the client to bring your disks to the server and make sure clipboard is also accessible while logged into the server.

Then while logged into the server open my computer and browse to the file on your disk and execute it to install. You can also copy files back and forth this way.
