USB drive has become read-only

I have an Imation usb drive that has been working flawlessly for almost

a year and has never touched XP until recently. After plugging my usb

drive in xp, all was good until I plugged it back into my Vista machine.

The drive as became read-only. I then put the usb drive in XP and all

was good. It seems as thou XP has changed something on my usb drive but

I can't find it.

I have tried command prompt in admin mode with attrib -r. I have tried

changing different registry entries,-D and temporarily disabling the

system manager to attempt to again access to this drive. But, to no

avail.

Also of note, this drive has no read-only switch. I have searched the

web and still have not found a resolution.

Any help would be appreciated.
