Hi there,

I need to set up a message of the day & I don't want to spend any money!

I know that I could use Domain Security policy and create a crude Title &

Message there but this has to be something that an end user would be able to

change so it cuts that one out.

I have currently created a folder on a global share & that contains a Word

document which can be saved as an html file.

I've also created a shortcut to go into All Users/Start Menu/Program

Files/StartUp to run the html file.

Basically it works OK & apart from making the IE shortcut do a few things

(no navigation bar, smaller window size etc) I need to try and distribute the

shortcut - I could go to each machine (only 40 of them) but I don't want to

mod the logon script as other support is provided by a couple of 3rd parties.

Any ideas gratefully received - my scripting skills are low to non-existent!
