Posted September 14, 200816 yr I had the same problem did everything microsoft advised to no effect. BUT I DID SOLVE IT it by removing all the ticks for filters in the compatability options. These things get added when you load a n others video playing/editing software. So far I havent noticed anything other than I can now load and edit video again.
