Need help trying to share my files with my xbox360

my notebook has vista home premium..and has been connected (erthernet) to my

xbox360....i was able to stream files for a while with no problems at all.

one day i got an error message "WMI reverse performance adapter maintenance

utility not working" now i cant connect to my xbox360.. and the xbox cant

detect my file sharing program on my computer. Is this message related to the

problem??

 

these are the error messages i saw in my event viewer regarding this issue.

"A new media server was not initialized (my xbox360 trying to connect)

because WMCreateDeviceRegistration encountered error '0xc00d2711'. The

windows DRM components on your computer might be corrupted. Veryify that

protected files play correctly in Windows Media Player then restart the

WMPnetworksvc service"

 

Im pretty sure these errors are related

cant seem to find any help on this problem???
