Posted September 9, 200816 yr I have found a description of the PIF file format on http://www.wotsit.org/ but it isn't very complete. Is the PIF file format the same on Vista as on XP? Where can I find a complete description of PIFs under recent Windows? I want to recover my original _default.pif file on a Sony Vaio with some sort of weird proprietary recovery disc and recovery partition, is that possible without a complete reinstall of Vista?
