Found New hardware-Runn DLL as an APP failure

Running windows XP MCE, SP3, Ihave runa a malware check and virus check to no

avail.

I am trying to install a USB printer (happens to ANY usb plugged in) as soon

as the "Found New hardware" bubble appears on the in the lower right, I get

an error message Run a DLL as an App has encoutnered a problem and needs to

close.

The technical info I have: App name rundll32.exe Modversion 5.1.2600.5512

ModName newdev.dll.

I tried to copy in a new rundll32 and re regsiter it I continue to have this

issue.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
