I have tried for years to figure out a way to stop the rectangular yellow popup balloons that appear when I hover my curser over files and things. It is annoying and conceals information underneath that I am also trying to read. I do not want so much redundancy telling me I am looking at something I know I am looking at. If we have to suffer with it, could it at least appear in some specified place out of the way? I just want to turn it off completely. An expert told me there was a registry item to change. That did nothing.
