ive installed a sata H.d , being a second H.d on the compyter.
the IDE drive is the boot computer and has the OS on it.
the sata is supposed to be the secondary drive.
bios shows and recognise the sata , but the windows ignores it
completly.
as for the windows , theres only the IDE drive.

am i doing something wrong ?

Try running Disk Management to partition and format the drive.

If the drive still does not "show up," then you may have to install a
SATA driver to get it to work.

You have to install the serial ATA driver on an ATA drive for it to see a
SATA drive
