I have an older laptop that has Win XP Pro on it, the screen went out so I bought a new laptop to replace it. I thought the old laptop was junk so I threw out the recovery disk and related software. I pulled the old computer out a few days ago to see if it would still boot up (I hooked it to my tv for a screen) and it goes to the sign in screen. When I type in the password it starts to log in then logs right back out a few seconds later. I have been researching and I found where I should use the recovery disk, well as I stated its gone. How can I get a recovery disk, and I can't remember if it is XP Home or XP Pro? Thanks.Todd Hime
