hi. i recently built a PC mainly for video viewing. i want to add a remote
controller for convinience. seems like most remotes will only work for XP MCE
version. is there any way i can upgrade (or downgrade) my XP Pro? i dont want
to waste my purchase of the XP Pro.

remotes like the microsoft MCE remote is what i have in mind.

thanks

XP MCE is not officially availabe from retailers, its an o/s that is
supplied preinstalled via OEM's

And MCE will not "upgrade / downgrade" Pro. You must "erase" Pro and
let MCE do a "clean" install, if you can locate a kit for purchase.

ok. so what's my option now? is there any ir remote that will work with xp
pro? will the microsoft MCE remote work with the xp pro?
