XP Outlook Express - opening messages

How can I configure Outlook Express to initially
open messages to a full page?

Once opened, no problem increasing messages
to full page. But I can't figure out how to have them
open to a full page. Restarts change nothing.

I haven't used Outlook Express in a while so I'm guessing here. I would say in options there should be an option to open emails outside the reading pane in a new window.

I looked in Outlook 2013 and there doesn't seem to be an option to do that. If I remember correctly I used to be able to do that with Outlook XP and Outlook Express.

If there is an option in Outlook Express, I can't find it.
I opened Tools, Options looking for it several times.
No luck. Could be me!
