You obviously have some method of access to the internet. You need to
download the diagnostics appropriate to your hard drive manufacturer on your
PC. Hopefully, its in a format that can be converted to boot media
appropriate to your PC. After booting from that media, have it check out
your hard drive.
Some form of recovery media should have come with your PC. It may be in
form of boot CD, or, onboard hidden recovery partition accessed via bios
selection or boot media, or, some other method. Recovery media will wipe
everything, and make the PC as when new. With the exception of some late
PCs, all your data files, desktop settings, internet settings, and so forth
will be gone as there is no repair option using recovery media.
