Hi

In win2000 if you type in \\servername\C$ it will open a new window, and you
can finde out how much free space that drive has, but if you do the same
thing on XP it does not,

Does any one know if this can be done?

For XP, simply right click on the drive letter in Explorer and select
'Properties'.

but you have to map this drive to click on the properties, this can only be
done only if you are on the server,

i would like to know when we type in \\servername\c$\ in the address bar it
will open the c$ but in XP you can not find out who much space is free or
used?
