XP does not see my 8600M GT video card

how can i resolve this? Also, in device manager, i looked at the PCI express
slot, which says This device cannot find enough free resources that it can
use. (Code 12). How do i resolve this? Thanks!
 
Get and install the proper drivers for this device. look at the manufactors
web site.

no, sorry, i've already tried. XP doesnt even see anything under display
adapters, and when i go to advanced under display settings, the thing there
is VgaSave, which i've never heard of

Have you installed the motherboard drivers? If so, re-install them.
