Windows 95/98/ME XP Display Issue With Access 2K

I am running Access 2K on an XP Pro machine. The background color for the
switchboard startup screen and all forms/screens are white, not their
regular colors. There are many versions of this applications running on at
least 50 machines and we have never seen this problem. Further, all reports
that display to the screen have a gray background -- not white. When
printed to a printer they are okay. I checked the desktop property settings
for Windows and they all seem normal. And, this computer is not having
problems with any other programs. The only Office program on the machine is
Access 2K.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Start/Control Panel/Display/Settings Tab/Advanced button/Color Management
Check to see if any (ICM) color profiles have been added or changed from the
profile listed
(if there is one shown inside the "Color profiles currently associated with
this device" box).

I will check. But, if this setting were not correct would other programs
not display incorrectly?

Thanks.

I can not say for certain, but I did see the exact same problem as yours on
an Access DB I created.
Unfortunately the IT manager would not let me change any settings.

So, have you solved it?? I'll give the Color Management fix a try tomorrow

Not sure I fully understand {50 machines}.Are you the IT person? Try

No. I'm not the IT person. We are a software company and we have 50
customers who use this product.

Seems if it was a degauzing issue, all images on the monitor would be wrong.
As it is, it is just Access froms and reports that are displayed on the
screen.

1. Try reinstalling Access
2. If the 50 other machines aren't running XP Pro, this might be the problem
3. Your color profiles should list your monitor and applications you need.
Anything "foreign" should be deleted.
4. Finally, and this is really a stab in the dark, but see if Access is
compatible with your graphics controller.

Some are running XP Pro.
