Wrong turn

I've tried to scan some documents. Thought I was saving as Word txt. How ever, they saved as Word Pictures. How do I change them from bmp to txt? Help

To convert a scanned image to text, you need some form of OCR (optical character recognition) software. Something like this usually comes with your scanner in the software package.
