In Microsoft WordPad (5.1) how do I set a font (and size) permanent;ly?

Current;ply the program opens in Arial 10. I would like it to open with
Artial Black 12.

Thank you,

You really don't. Wordpad is a very simple program, this is one of may
things that it can't do.

What you can do is open Wordpad, and with a blank document showing set
your preferences. Now save that document on your desktop. Now when you
want to start Wordpad, doubleclick that document. Wordpad will open
with that doc loaded, and the doc will have your preferences.

You could also download OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org), a free
open-source office suite. It includes a word processor that is *much*
better than wordpad.
