WMDC will not recognize my Razr (Yes, I know.). Is it possible for these to work together?

As above. Yes, my phone is out of date - way out. I'd just like to sync with Outlook. I've already tried disconnecting, restarting the phone, and the PC. When the USB is connected it makes the device beep and charges the phone but otherwise does not recognize it.
