I have tried to connect my other computer to Internet by using an RJ-45 Ethernet wire to connect it to the Modem and then connect. The computer is detected on the modem and the computer has detected the modem too. When I enter the username and password and connect, it stays at Connecting through WAN Miniport PPOE and then it says that the remote computer did not respond. I rebooted the modem many times. Is the wire faulty or the computer faulty. My other computer is running Windows XP Professional SP2.
