I just installed the latest Intellipoint drivers for this setup and it has a
feature I have never seen before. It can magnify a box that is controlled
by the cursor. In other words, when it is active, you can move around the
screen and change the area that is being magnified.

Unfortunately, it magnifies when IT wants to and not when I want to. If I
change the focus of the cursor, it sometimes magnifies it or when I open up
a new hyperlink it comes up magnified. It's a serious impediment to my
usage of the mouse to have to click the button on the right side of the
mouse (not the Right Click button) to close the magnify box.

I have reset the defaults many times and its no help. Any clues why this
thing seems to have a mind of it's own? In case you are wondering, I am not
accidentally clicking the right button.

TIA,

Tom

Well, since I got no responses here, I'm going to take the whole shootin
match back to Best Buy and get a Logitec combo. That magnify screen popping
up for no reason about every time I moved the mouse was driving me crazy!
