yesterday my cat sat on my laptop as he has a tendency to do but somehow he has managed to disable my wireless connection. I really need to get back on line.
Under Edit connections.
Wireless tab-I have Mode-infrastrucure but nothing else
Wireless security tab-i have out in WPA and WPA Personal and the password key
IPv4 settings i have it on automatic and have unticked the 'require iPv4 for this connection to complete'
Ivp6 says ignore.
i have tried lots of different combinations to get it back to wireless. It works fine with the ethernet cable by the way and mobile devices are fine so it's def the computer.
I know v little about linux but would be v grateful for any help.
