Deployment Question - Static IP environment -- NETSH and winPE
image has been captured - sysprep has been run. I created a front end to capture some user information. branch, time zone, ip / sn /gw info. In winPE I take the captured info and write a small file. Later in the process, take the file and read everything back in - - generate a netsh command. works fine. Do ip config pc has correct IP info. (from the user input data). PC reboots, static IP info is reset back to default. (192.168.xx.xx)
I need to have the user entered static IP set on the NIC, prior to the computer trying to automatically joining the domain in hte sysprep process.
