Hi Folks:

I am having trouble with the HKLM_SOFTWARE part of a registry.
EMC Dantz Retrospect backup is scheduled to run at 4:04 every morning.
It has been reporting errors when it tries to backup the registry.

The following errors appear in the event viewer, Application Log --

4:09 - EventID: 29 Source: WinMgmt
The repository file was not the size we expected it to be. This could
have been because WinMgmt crashed, the system crashed, or you did not
shut your machine down cleanly. We had to delete the repository and
create a new one.

4:09 - EventID: 27 Source: WinMgmt
WinMgmt could not open the repository file. This could be due to
insufficient security access to the "<%SystemRoot%>\System32\WBEM
\Repository", insufficient disk space or insufficient memory.

4:10 - EventID: 1 Source: Retrospect
Can't back up registry, error -1019 (not enough resources)
==========================================

Does anyone have a clue about how to fix these?

Thanks,
Wayne Scott
